How to install your app on your Android device.
South African Android developers are not allowed by Google to sell their apps on the Google Play app store, because of our country's currency regulations.
We therefore have to sell it from our website to you. We have put together this installation guide to install the app on your Android device.
To be able to use this app, you have to authorise your smartphone to allow applications downloaded from unknown sources.
Configure your Android device.
To allow the installation of .APK apps on your Android phone, go to Menu > Settings > Security and tick the box that says "Unknown Origins" or "Unknown Sources."
The following message will appear: "Your phone and personal data are more vulnerable to attack by applications from unknown sources. You agree that you are solely responsible for any damage to your phone or loss of data that may result from using these applications." Accept the conditions but be cautious about the origin of other apps you download in future.
Always review the permissions of everything you install on your smartphone. Make sure you don't give suspicious apps permission to access your passwords, contacts, or private messages, or consent for the apps to send SMS messages.
The process to install DemoCalc or BondCalc.
You can either download the .APK file on your mobile device or on your computer. To get started, download the APK file using either your PC's browser or your Android browser. If the download was to your PC, extract the contents of the zip file to a folder. Next, connect your Android device to the PC and enable USB mass-storage mode. The next step is to drag and drop the file onto your device. Then, using your file manager, locate the file on your device and install it.
Go to your app drawer and if it's necessary, select the card on which the file is located. (See the pictures below). Click Downloads; here you will find the file you just downloaded. Tap on the file to install the app.
Select the file to install.
As seen in the picture below, you are asked to allow the app to be able to do a lot of things with your device. The bond calculator app does not make use of any of these processes. It installs and you see exactly what the app does. It does not have any hidden functions.
